Future Roo Day is an opportunity for admitted students and their families to meet faculty members, learn about life on campus and explore UMKC resources.
Future Roo Day is for admitted undergraduate students and their families in all academic programs except the School of Medicine and audition/portfolio based programs in the Conservatory. The event is highly recommended for students who have yet to visit UMKC's campus and/or who are still considering where they want to attend college.

Membership in a fraternity or sorority offers students a unique opportunity to have a balanced college life with a focus on academic excellence, life-long friendships, leadership development, service and philanthropy, and responsible social interaction. Join current fraternity and sorority leaders and the Assistant Director for Fraternity & Sorority Affairs for a discussion on the Greek Life experience at UMKC and learn more about the many social and culturally-based fraternities and sororities on campus and how to get involved!
Located in the Swinney Center is Campus Recreation! Whether you’re interested in the fitness center, intramural leagues, group fitness, aquatics, or just looking for a pick-up game – Campus Recreation has it all! Enjoy the entire facility with your student membership, including the fitness center, five multipurpose basketball courts, racquetball courts, fitness studios, aquatics center, and the recreational field. With Campus Recreation, you can Be Active, Be Well, and Be Yourself!
UMKC’s Academic Support and Mentoring (ASM) department offers students a wide range of services and programs dedicated to providing innovative support and resources to ensure every UMKC student persists with the skills to achieve their vision of success. ASM provides academic support with services like UMKC Tutoring, Supplemental Instruction (SI), and the Writing Studio. ASM also provides mentoring support through programs such as Summer Bridge Scholars, Jumpstart KC, and First Gen Roo.
